Allerton Park is a nature center that is open to the Illinois community to experience everything that it has to offer. Throughout the 1,500 acre park, there are various trails that lead the visitor to a specific pieces of art. Because of this, the only land that is being experienced by people are the trails that lead to the landmarks. In attempt to make the unexperienced land accessible, this artists' village invites visitors into an unknown space with the use of light.
