Tips for Registering and Planning Coursework
Complete prior research on Course Explorer to build an ideal schedule before you register. You should also be creating backup plans in case your ideal schedule does not work out. During your research, make sure you read the course descriptions and all the fine print regarding pre-requisites, additional fees, credit availability, and more. It is your responsibility for knowing this information!
The longer you wait, the harder it may be to get into your desired courses. It is a good idea to monitor the status of your desired courses. You can easily do this by “favoriting” certain course sections on Course Explorer and opting in to email updates about seat openings.
You need to be able to determine if and when you might have the chance to take a specific course in the future. In Course Explorer, click on “List of Terms Offered” to view how frequently the course has been available over the past decade or so. This will help you make an educated guess about when it may be offered next.
Degree Audit Report System (DARS)
You can use DARS to see your degree progress, what classes you still need to take, and how credit transfers to your degree. It is a great resource for students. It is always a clever idea to look over your DARS before coming to an advising appointment.
On the FAA Student Forms webpage, you can find any student form required for your academic need, such as the grade replacement form, minor declaration form, student petition, and more.

If a device meets or is close to the specifications, selecting a laptop comes down to individual preference and budget considerations.
