About Curtis
Some of my interests in design are mixed-use, hospitality, and/or high-rise buildings. I am focused on sustainability and building performance to help improve and provide the best quality of life for those who inhabit the space. I love to create architecture that helps people consciously perform their daily activities in an efficient manner.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois in 2020, and was involved as an undergraduate in the UIUC Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS). In 2019-2020 I held the position of secretary for that organization. Additionally, I am a member of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA).
Some of my recent projects include a residential proposal for Professor Tom Loew’s studio (ARCH 476, Spring 2020); a boutique hotel for Professor Bhujon Kang’s capstone studio (ARCH 476, Spring 2019); and a proposal for an artists’ village at Allerton Park, which was nominated for the Earl Prize (ARCH 373, Fall 2018).
